POODLE RESCUE ONTARIO
Thank you for finding us!
POODLE RESCUE ONTARIO exists for one purpose; to take in, rehabilitate and rehome Poodles who can no longer stay where they are.
1 Pape Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4M 2V5 647 200-6287
POODLE RESCUE ONTARIO survives on donations of food for the dogs and money from our grooming tips to pay vet fees. If you would like to make a donation of food, bowls, bedding, toys, collars, leashes or a financial contribution to help a dog during it's stay with us, please email or call for information on how to do so. THANK YOU!
Successfully rescuing and rehoming dogs since 1992!
Without private dog rescues, many animals would be taken to shelters or put to sleep. While shelter staff are compassionate and give all they can to caring for the animals, a cage is no home for a dog. Please, donate or adopt today!
Surrendering your Poodle
The decision to surrender your dog is a difficult and painful one. Often, people are forced to give up their dog because they do not know how to handle issues such as aggression, separation anxiety or fear biting. As Canine Behaviour Therapists, we are happy to discuss the problem with you and perhaps save you the heartache of giving up your dog. If, however, you have made every attempt to remedy the problem and still must re-home your dog, we are here for both of you.
Adopting a Poodle
Most of our Poodles are owner surrenders and therefore we know something of their background. However, sometimes we rescue Poodles from shelters when their "time is up", and we know nothing about their history. In either case, when adopting a dog please understand that they need time to settle into a new home and come to trust their new family. Should you encounter any problems, we are happy to help you at any time after the adoption.
